Vocations
A vocation is a second class next to the combat one, for the peaceful skills (the Vocation tab of the classes window). Each vocation owns a family of skills, boosts it and opens its own recipes: combat boosters and accessories for every class.
A vocation opens once any skill of its family reaches level 15. You can change your vocation for free once a week (reset Monday 00:00 UTC), then for 200 crystals and up, doubling each time. The combat class follows the same rule, separately.
Vocation XP comes only from actions in its family skills and counts the action time: an hour of work on your own level gives as much as an hour of combat gives your class. Every vocation keeps its level when you switch.
Blacksmith
Mines ore and forges warriors' weapons and armor. Every gear line needs ingots.
Huntsman
Fells trees, hunts and makes bows, crossbows and archers' leather armor. Supplies everyone with planks and hides.
Runeweaver
Weaves fabric, stitches runecloth and makes mages' wands, staves and robes.
Innkeeper
Catches fish and cooks the meals and feasts no expedition goes without.
Arcanist
Brews potions and enchants gear. Gathers nothing: buys materials or gets them by breaking gear down. An expensive vocation.
Rogue
Steals in the city and trains agility. Gold, caches and stolen finds.
Combat boosters
A booster goes into its own combat slot (one; a new one replaces the old): it lasts 30 minutes of fighting, then the next comes from the backpack. Works together with mixtures and the feast, for its owner only (party members get nothing). The vocation unlocks the recipes; anyone can use them.
Vocation recipes show up and can be crafted only while that vocation is active at the required level. Anyone can use the finished items.
