Updates
What changed in each version of the game.
3.7.0
New
- The "Starfall" event
- Crystallites: the Starfall opens a new system of companions
- Daily quests are updated. Quests can now be replaced
- Loadouts remember potions: applying a loadout puts the saved combat potions, meals and boosters into the slots
- Party: sent invites are visible and can be cancelled, an invite lasts 2 minutes. Typing a nickname shows suggestions: friends first, then the guild. Members show their class, level, GS, current activity, HP and mana, the "Stats" button opens their stats
- Buying crystals: payments are in progress
Balance
- Guild quest gold depends on the average gear level of the guild members
- The amount of food in combat quest rewards depends on the quest difficulty
Fixes
- World boss: a run can be entered only once, solo or with a party. Leaving and rejoining no longer revives the fallen. If the connection drops, a solo fight goes on for 90 seconds and reconnecting brings you back into the same fight. The best solo and party table is kept until the boss appears again. The fighter list shows who is fighting, who has fallen and who has left
- The enemy attack bar no longer jumps when attack speed changes, and revival no longer resets the enemy's swing
- Party members' HP in the party widget updates live. An invite can no longer be accepted while already in a party
3.6.0
New
- Collections: a new "Collection" building in the city. Inside are a catalog of every item in the game, albums to deposit items into and a bestiary with stats for every monster. Gathering, crafting, market and shop purchases, rewards, sales and guild deposits all count, offline included
- A new "Collectors" leaderboard
- An album or a monster card can be shared in chat, the link opens it read-only
- Settings > Notifications: toasts for new collection finds, with a minimum rarity
- Wardrobe: a new profile tab with all your cosmetics in one place: avatars, nickname colors, backgrounds, titles and frames
- "Bonuses" tab in the profile: achievement bonuses, collection bonuses and skill perks in one place. Collection bonuses are shown in other players' profiles too
- Every figure in the interface now includes your current bonuses: action time in skill panels and the queue, XP, kill rewards in the zone window. The tooltip shows the base value
- Tutorial: the tutorial can be skipped (with a confirmation). Texts are updated, items in the goals are labeled with their real names
- New logo, site and app icons, link preview images for social networks
Balance
- Acrobatics is now a gathering skill, and bonuses apply to it correctly
- Dungeon keys: higher drop chance on high difficulties
- Cerberus capes from the world boss roll now drop with a rarity, like other capes
- Revival: instead of 50% HP you get up with what passive regeneration would restore during the countdown
- Thieving: if you get caught, you die with a revival timer. You can't steal again while it runs. The countdown is shown in the thieving panel
3.5.1
New
- Chat settings: a new "Chat" tab in the settings. Font, text and emoji size, density, message time, guild tags next to nicknames and much more
- Chat tabs: the order of channels can be set by hand in the chat settings
- Emoji: a new set that looks the same on every device. The emoji picker has search, recent emoji, skin tone and all categories, flags included
- Chat moderation: a #channel link in a message opens that tab. A new nickname color shows in chat right away
- Combat skills: hover (or hold on a phone) a combat skill in the side panel to see what its level gives
- Enchanting: the session summary has a "Spent" section with the gold and materials used up
- Potion slots: removing a potion from its slot no longer wastes it - the drunk dose works to its end and no new one is taken. Potion slots now sit left of the perks
- Skill perks: the "All perks in the wiki" button opens the progression section
- Wiki: enchant scrolls are explained step by step (extraction, applying, removal, safeguard, blank scroll) with prices, and there is a table of safeguard items
- News feed: items show their tooltip
- Updates: when a new version is out, the game asks to reload the page. If a part of the game fails to load, a banner with a reload button shows instead of an empty screen
Balance
- Enchant safeguard: Soul of the Hunt now keeps the item whatever the outcome. A successful extraction gives the scroll and leaves the item without the enchant (sharpening kept), a failed one leaves the item as it was. The safeguard burns on every attempt. Extraction with a safeguard costs extra gold by item rarity: 100k / 250k / 500k / 1M / 2.5M. This lets you take an enchant off your main gear and enchant it again
- Revival: the revival timer now keeps running even if you leave combat. You revive with 50% HP, HP regenerates passively (out of combat too)
Fixes
- Quest tracker: pinned quests expand again
- Gilded interface: the XP tooltip no longer shifts the page
- Sharing loot or an order in chat too often now tells how many seconds are left before you can send it again
- Fixed a visual twitch while enchanting an item
3.5.0
New
- Potion slots: every peaceful skill and combat have 3 slots each, plus one slot for a meal and one for a booster. A potion works only while its skill runs and only where it has an effect. Duration: 10 minutes for potions and mixtures, 30 minutes for meals and boosters. When the duration runs out, the slot takes the next potion from the inventory. Offline works exactly like online. Potions that were already drunk went back to the inventory
- Server buffs: four buffs for the whole server. Buy them in the Shop on the "Community" tab, every purchase extends the buff. New "Patrons" leaderboard: 100 crystals spent = 1 point. Buffs can also run as events
- Zone difficulty: a switch above the zone list in combat. Monsters are stronger, waves are bigger, XP grows with monster strength. Gold and drop chances grow half as fast
- Ability triggers: up to 4 condition sets joined with OR. New conditions: target is not a boss, target is elite, a boss is in the fight, ally HP below %, wave number above / below, target has / lacks a debuff. Ready presets for every ability type. On phones the editor opens in its own window. In combat each condition shows whether it is met, and an ability slot with a trigger gets a clock
- Sounds and music: sounds for the interface, notifications, combat, skills, trading and social features. Background music switches to battle music in combat. Volume is set per group, chat sounds are off by default. In a background tab only important sounds play (private messages, invites)
- Toasts: the settings let you fine-tune where and how toasts appear - position on screen, offset, order, size, width, opacity, duration, count, animation and loot merging
- "Active bonuses" button in the top bar: server buffs, potions, premium and guild bonuses in one place
- Meals in a party: allies get 50% of your meal, your own meal works in full. Identical meals do not stack, the strongest one works
- Reforging sharpened gear: a sharpened item can be reforged into another one by recipe, the sharpening moves to the new item minus 3 levels. A reforge runs like one normal craft
- Mass enchanting: start enchanting several copies of an item at once
- Chat: a send button. You can show your own market order in chat (Trade, party, guild, private messages), a click opens the item on the market
- Quest tracker: the badge can be dragged and sticks to the screen edge
- Ability animations: casts have their own effects. The effects setting is split into three groups: combat, loot, interface
- New potions: Supreme Abundance Potion, Supreme Crafter's Tincture, Supreme Attack Speed Mixture
- Wiki: items sold in the Shop link to it, potions show where they work, new section about zone difficulty. The wiki is now open on the website (/wiki/), the home page is updated
- Icons: the whole set is updated, classes have emblems instead of portraits
- Windows: every window has a close button, tall windows on phones no longer go under the browser bars. The blur behind windows is removed
- Top bar: the online counter moved to the city, the red dot is replaced with a text about connection problems. A news feed replaces the event banner: world boss, unique drops, events and other important things. It has an unread counter, feed categories are picked in the settings
Balance
- Ammo is removed completely. All its market orders are removed and the resources are returned. Bows, crossbows, wands and staves deal a bit more damage
- Food: 5 second cooldown. HP food and mana food now have separate cooldowns
- Revival after death in a zone: 60 seconds instead of 10
- World bosses: HP recalculated. Cerberus adapts to the strength of the group. Golden Chicken has more HP. The contribution needed for a reward is lower, so newcomers get rewards too. Death at a world boss is now final, like in dungeons
- Zone monsters: stats follow one formula. Weaknesses go in a circle: melee monsters are weak to magic, ranged ones to melee, mages to ranged. Mid-tier monsters hit softer
- Area damage: full on two targets, less on each target beyond that
- Knight: Sword Mastery +10..70% instead of +5..50%
- Spellblade: Sword Mastery +8..12% instead of +1..4%
- Crossbowman: passive +10% damage instead of +5%
- Hunter: the pet inherits less damage. Barbed Shot x1.2-2.4 instead of x1.4-3.0, Crippling Shot x1.2-1.6 instead of x1.0-1.3
- Necromancer: Reaper heals a bit less
- Leather armor: armor and dodge x1.3. Rune armor: armor x1.2
- Luck potions now raise the rare find chance, the rarity of crafted gear and the token chance in acrobatics. They no longer give a chance of extra loot when gathering
- Mixture damage works on auto-attacks, abilities and their DoTs, pets and necromancer servants
- Speed potions work in enchanting and acrobatics
- Meals give x1.5 effect, but only 1 meal can be used now (in a party they can be combined)
- Shared Table is renamed to Hearty Meal and became a normal personal booster: cheaper recipe, 2 per craft. Banquet feast is renamed to Merchant's meal
- Skill speed is recalculated every cycle: a potion or buff turned on during an action works at once
- Quests no longer ask to craft vocation items
Fixes
- Guild bonuses to speed and double result chance in peaceful skills now work
- Guild bonuses update right away on join, leave and kick, not only at login
- Offline, the XP potion in gathering and crafting was used up but gave no XP
- World bosses: phases, hounds, immunity and enrage fixed
- Offline XP bonuses (premium, server buffs) count only for the time they were active
- Tall tooltips on phones can now be scrolled
- Sorting in equipment, loadouts, guild vault and enchanting is the same as in the inventory, locked items first
- Boosters sit in the consumables category of the inventory
- Thieving: target stats fit in one compact row
- Finished quests are now unpinned properly
3.4.0
New
- Enchanting rework: enchanting can now roll procs. Procs can be removed, moved into scrolls and put with a scroll on any fitting gear
- Item lock: a locked item cannot be sold, used up in crafting, put in the guild vault or disenchanted by accident. You can still equip it
- Re-crafting: pick the rarity of the base item per recipe right in the craft window. Common is the default everywhere, so your epics no longer get used up by accident
- Action queue: change the repeat count right in the queue. Double-tap the top bar to open the current action, the icons in the rows open their skill
- @mentions: nickname autocomplete in chat, or just type @Nick
- Animations: crit sparks, kill bursts, glow on rare loot and banners for level-ups, achievements, guild levels, dungeons and the world boss. You can turn them off in the settings
- Gilded is now the default theme. The old one is still in the settings as Classic
- Phones: the Skills tab reopens your last skill, the combat log survives tab switches, toasts no longer cover buttons
- Market: My orders reworked - best price, fill progress and outbid orders highlighted. The market loads faster
- Russian item names now agree with the rarity
- New icons for arrows, classes, effects, pets and stats, some old ones redrawn
Balance
- Enchanting costs the same on any item tier: shards of the item rarity plus catalysts
- Disenchanting can fail: 90% success at the item level, up to 99% above it. A failure loses the item without shards
- Soul of the Hunt drops 10 times more often, but only from elites in combat zones
- Blank scrolls: sold in the Shop, sometimes drop from dungeon chests, very rarely from war chests
- Combat mixtures reworked: damage is now in percent, attack speed and protection cut by about 1.5 times
- Procs count toward gear score
Fixes
- Enchant bonuses in tooltips were not translated
- The offline thieving report shows when you got caught and how much food was eaten
- Gold and crystals no longer sit a pixel below the text
- Leaderboards on phones: a proper category picker instead of the sidebar
- Tooltips on phones no longer get stuck and show on tap
3.3.0
New
- Vocations: a second class for the peaceful skills - Blacksmith, Huntsman, Runeweaver, Innkeeper, Arcanist and Rogue. Each has its own XP, a skill tree, accessories and a combo bonus with your combat class. Opens at level 15 of a peaceful skill
- Combat boosters: 12 new consumables made by the vocations. One works at a time, for 30 minutes of fighting
- Vocations got a quest chain, achievements, leaderboards and a wiki section
- Gear score: one number for how strong your gear is. Shown in the equipment tab, the profile and its own leaderboard
- Looking for a group: post a card in the new LFG chat channel and players can ask to join in one click. There is also a Trade channel
- Weekly guild quests: 10-15 quests at the start of the week, no timer. The more members help, the bigger the gold reward
- Opened 10+ chests at once? A window shows all the loot, and you can share it in chat
- Market: new tabs and filters by style and slot
- New icons for items, monsters, locations, skills and abilities
- Wiki: new sections about guilds and about potions and buffs
Balance
- Mage gear is made from runecloth, a new runecrafting material. Runes are now only ammo
- Unique gear recipes need materials of other vocations
- Class switch: one free switch per week, then crystals as before
- Guilds: the level table is longer (levels and progress are kept). Upgrades cost more resources but less gold and guild points; higher upgrade levels need a higher guild level
- Global chat opens at total level 50. Trade and LFG channels have a slow mode
Fixes
- Premium +5% XP now works everywhere, not only in party fights
- The guild upgrade Combat XP did nothing, and offline combat ignored guild upgrades
- Combat stats now show every bonus that works in a fight
- Opening many chests no longer freezes the game
- The class switch cooldown and the ranger's arrow type were reset on relog
- Flasks gave back time when you reconnected into a party fight
- An achievement could be announced twice
- Small fixes in the tutorial and guild messages
3.2.0
New
- New dungeon: Stormforge Depths
- Stormforge Keys drop in combat zones from level 50 on. Runed Dungeon Keys now drop only in the zones below level 50
- Stormforge relics: six unique pieces found only on the Stormforge Tyrant, with a rolled rarity. Three for combat and three for peaceful skills
- Death in dungeons is final: a fallen member stays down until a priest's Resurrection brings them back. If the whole group falls, the run fails and the key is lost; the fallen leave with 1 HP
- Dungeon cards show the recommended level, and the dungeon window lists its elite waves
Fixes
- While a boss is shielded by its minions, auto-attacks, pets and single-target abilities now go for the minions instead of hitting the immune boss. Berserkers could get stuck on dungeon bosses forever; every class now kills them much faster
- Boss phases that change the boss's attacks now work: Cerberus breathes triple hellfire below 50% HP as intended
- Boss enrage no longer deals the whole grace period's damage in one hit when it starts (Cerberus hit everyone for 450 at once)
- The elite "Volatile" death blast now deals at most 40% of your max HP instead of one-shotting from full health
3.1.0
New
- Skill Paths: every skill has its own path of chapters that open at skill levels 1, 10 and 25. They start with the basics and lead into what the skill is really about: rare finds, tools, and the other skills it works with. The goals say what to do, finding out how is up to you
- Quest Journal (City > Quests): skill paths and daily / weekly quests in one place. Pin up to 3 paths to the quest tracker in the corner of the screen to follow them while you play
- Daily and weekly quests now match your level: each one takes a few minutes (weekly: about an hour) of what you do at your current level, and pays gold, bonus skill XP and potions, food or combat chests. Quests no longer ask for gear far below your level
- New quest types: enchanting, dungeon runs (weekly, once a dungeon is open) and a weekly bonus for claiming all weekly quests
- Online players get the new day's and week's quests right at 00:00 UTC instead of after their next login
Fixes
- Guild quests no longer lose progress when several members work on them at once, and a finished quest can no longer be completed twice. Progress beyond a finished quest goes into the next one of the same kind
- Offline crafting no longer completed "craft an item" quests instantly (the whole offline output counted for every craft)
- Guild members no longer lost part of their offline daily quest progress
- Quests now show hunting and weaving spot names instead of internal ids
- Guild quests and quest progress put less load on the server
3.0.1
Fixes
- Cooking: feast recipes are now shown in the Buffs tab (it still said "coming soon")
- Acrobatics tokens: the description says where each token is used; upgrading the acrobatics gear needs the token of the drills you are doing now, so every token has a use
- Wiki: the Skill Progression section no longer runs past the panel; the tool upgrade table no longer overlaps its headers
- Shop: one card for all goods - buttons stay inside the cards, names are no longer cut, prices line up with the coin, the "?" sits in the centre of its ring; gradient nickname swatches no longer show square corners
- Combat: the name of the ability being cast is visible again in the new interface; trigger settings button uses the interface colour; monsters without an icon have a single frame
- Gradient nicknames show the whole gradient in the player inspect window and in combat
- Chat: a mentioned player's name has the same colour as their nickname (gradient nicknames in mentions were invisible)
- New interface: no stray line past the chat frame corner; no bright strip around the profile background preview
- The training dummy is named properly in the action queue
3.0.0
A new look for the game with lively effects, and a big skill update: perks, combat attributes, an economy where crafts need several skills, thieving risk, feasts and a combat rebalance.
New
- New Interface: Currently in development - can be enabled in Settings > Interface; the classic interface remains the default
- In the new interface: an updated classes page, placeholders in empty equipment slots, and new highlighting in the tutorial
- Animation Effects: Loot flies into the inventory, experience points appear as a tooltip over actions, cards tremble from hits (and more intensely from critical hits), the HP bar shows damage just taken, and a new level is marked with a banner. These can be disabled in settings
- Chat: Player mentions are colored to match their nicknames
- Skill Perks: Each peaceful skill unlocks perks at levels 25 / 50 / 75 / 99 (bonuses to the skill itself and small combat bonuses), with a power boost of 125-200. The perk scale is displayed in each skill's panel, and there is a new "Perks" tab in the profile
- Combat Attributes: Melee / Ranged / Magic are now Strength / Dexterity / Intelligence, and each peaceful skill grants 3% of its experience to one of them (Cooking grants Vitality)
- Equipment requirements: Weapons now require an attribute and weapon proficiency; armor requires an attribute and Defense. Items that do not meet these requirements will be moved to your inventory upon equipping!
- Combat Finds: About once every 25 minutes of combat, the party may find an ore vein, a sunken cache, a rune tablet, and so on, and if you have enough skill, you'll be rewarded
- Skill Economics: Level 10 gear requires materials from a second skill (armor-hides; bows-cloth...), and armor sets of the three classes take roughly the same amount of time to gather
- Byproducts of gathering (ore chunks, river debris, etc.) have become raw materials for alchemy and cooking
- Alchemy: new elixir bases and combat potions of all tiers; for each base, you need a vial from the shop; ready-made bases drop while fishing, hunting, and stealing (alchemy levels up at the same rate as other skills); potions and concoctions are brewed from bases and one rare find; a new sorcerer's catalyst for enchanting
- Cooking: Combat Dishes-Hunter's Stew (HP regeneration in combat), Smoked Assortment (auto-attack critical hit rate), Spiced Roast (auto-attack accuracy), and Feast (gold from kills)
- Thievery: An attempt may fail-in which case you won't get any loot, and you'll take damage in return. Damage is reduced by armor and Defense (any armor class works); the chance of failure decreases as your Thievery level increases. Food is consumed automatically; if you have no food left, you'll be caught and the theft will stop. The Thievery skill screen displays the success/failure chance, guard attack, HP, auto-eat, and food.
- Loot from theft: blueprints for upgrading tools, stashes of gold and rare collector's finds, stolen bundles containing random gear, and some items from the shop
- Tools are upgraded using materials from your profession and rare finds related to your skill; starting at level 20, they can also be upgraded using thieving blueprints
- Crafting Quality: Each level above the recipe's requirement increases the chance of obtaining unusual and rarer gear
- Monster Essence: combat material for unique gear and new food
- Acrobatics training grants mastery tokens for acrobat gear and agile equipment
- Wiki: New "Skill Progression" section (attributes, equipment requirements, perks, combat loot, skill economy, thievery, alchemy, combat dishes); tool upgrades and acrobatics tokens are displayed in "Used in" / "Drops from"
- Settings: notifications are grouped into 5 collapsible sections; errors are always displayed; the "Log Out" and "Install App" buttons have been moved to Settings from the profile
- Action Queue: For alchemy, hunting, and weaving, the number of repetitions, time, and names are visible; infinite crafting takes into account what previous items in the queue will produce and consume; if there aren't enough materials for the specified number of repetitions, it is highlighted in red
Balance
- Loot is split among the group: each member receives their share of drops and gold from each monster instead of the full loot. Group play is an effective way to earn money-thanks to its speed and minimal food consumption
- Fighting in weak gear is less profitable than gathering; fighting solo in your tier's gear yields average earnings; a strong party earns more from non-combat skills
- Monsters drop significantly fewer raw materials (ore, logs, fish, hides, cloth, ingots) and ammunition; gold from monsters is recalculated by zone
- Gathering tables have been reworked: stable byproducts (1-2 items) and an equal chance of a rare find across all tiers
- The selling price of hides and cloth to merchants is reduced by 30% (hunting and weaving used to be the best ways to farm gold)
- Equipment rebalancing: two-handed weapons deal damage at the same rate across all tiers; plate armor is the strongest, followed by leather; cloth deals the most damage; unique items are an alternative to tier-specific items and require Defense
- Class and role balance: The Knight is a true tank (takes less damage and heals faster the more enemies are around), the Pathfinder grants evasion to the entire party, and the Priest is the party's best support; Class damage is balanced (the Rune Blade, Hunter, Pathfinder, and Crossbowman are slightly weaker, while the Elementalist, Necromancer, and Berserker are stronger)
- Regeneration and Food: Class healing is now a percentage of max HP; Holy Healing and the Hunter's pet are weaker-all classes need food again
- Mana regeneration-a small increase; the main source is mana food; Cerberus's Cloak and Arcanus's Amulet provide much less mana regeneration
- Meals are better now; healing has been increased
- Double loot bonus for levels above the location: +0.3% per level (max. 30%); crafting receives +0.1% per level for saving materials (max. 10%)
Fixes
- Chat: The experience and gold icons are now aligned exactly with the text
- Animated nicknames in chat no longer flash erratically across different messages
- The tooltip for equipment with two requirements (Attribute + Skill / Defense) used to not open; unmet requirements are now highlighted
- Food cooldown is now visible even outside of combat, and its timer runs smoothly
- Acrobatics bonuses to gathering now apply to hunting and weaving
- Luck potions now work in offline gathering calculations
- The Dodge Stance and other evasion buffs expressed as a percentage did not work in combat
- Class passives labeled "+X% damage" now also enhance abilities
- Elite items with the "Regeneration" affix healed ~6 times more than stated and could stall combat indefinitely
- Offline combat now proceeds just as quickly as online (there used to be 10-20% fewer kills)
- Living Fortress and Holy Aura now protect the wearer as well
- Offline party members were not receiving the effects of luck and protection potions
- Equipment requirements for shields have been fixed; requirements for accessories and cloaks are now checked
- Fixed bugs where double kill rewards could be awarded
- Login: A failed load could crash the server; solo battles from the queue following a group battle did not grant offline progress
- Chat: Messages from blocked players were displayed again after reconnecting,
